Excited About Marvel

I am handing in my geek card. My wife showed me the leaked Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer before I found and saw it myself, including the alternate version. So embarrassing…

What excited me the most was that Marvel showed us the movies that are coming in Phase 3 of their multi-year plan, including the announcement of Civil War. I am not expecting the exact same plot as the comics, but with arguable one of the best storylines in the recent age of Marvel Comics, there is a lot riding on the treatment of Civil War for the masses. My thoughts go to whether enough superheroes have been introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to create the impact of a huge group of powers taking sides?

Regardless, I am really excited about the movie, but also the whole universe created for these movies to exist in. I am most looking forward to watching James Spader as Ultron though, damn his voice is creepy.

Avengers: Age of Ultron, May 1, 2015. Be first in line! I probably need to in order to get my geek card back…

But… what do I know…?
