Big Hero 6 Watched

I just got out of the theatre after Big Hero 6. Go watch it, I highly recommend it.

Why is it good? Bah, reasons! My wife loved it, she laughed, she cried, she got upset at me that I did not cry… I found it thoroughly enjoyable. Assigned seating mitigated the mad rush to the theatre, online booking ensured the tickets, those fancy soda pop machines have Fanta Grape, the whole movie going experience was great.

In case you are not familiar with it, Big Hero 6 is a Marvel Comic, created by Steven T. Seagle and Duncan Rouleau. It features the same basic cast as the movie you are going to watch (seriously, go watch it), but not in familiar form. Google it, you will see the difference. The Disney adaptation is really kid friendly, but combines amazing Pixar animation with a diverse and memorable cast of character. The screen is truly stolen by Baymax, the balloon robot you see in trailers and features. He really is that funny.

I do not often get out to see movies (I dread getting a movie gift certificate), but I would definitely add this onto a must-see list along with other superhero and geek movies you have on the docket. I have to go find a Baymax plushie for my wife now…

But… what do I know…?
