Day 24: Favorite Spell

I do not often play spellcaster characters and usually a gish of some sort when I do. Those all focus on defensive spells like mage armor and shield to supplement skill with weapons. Traditional spells always hold some nostalgia, like a good fireball, but I cannot consider them my favorites. So thinking to a relatively recent experience

…the spell spike growth was particularly effective against a dragon turtle we faced. While it is not really a favorite, its effect of turning the ground into a concealed cheese grater was extremely amusing, making for a good story.

But… what do I know…?
