If you are in the Greater Toronto Area, southern Ontario, or western New York, I want to invite you to our event! Otherwise known as “I Must Be Out of My Mind Convention 2016“, Cornerstone TableTop Day 2016 will be held Saturday, April 30, 2015 in Markham. This was an idea that culminated out of those strange influences earlier this year, finally coming to fruition. I am really happy things are going smoothly so far. For those unfamiliar, the copy below should help…
On Saturday, April 30, 2016, Cornerstone is pleased to invite you and your family to Cornerstone TableTop Day! This inaugural event will be held at our brand-new facility in Markham and will feature a wide assortment of roleplaying games, board games, and children’s games, as well as tournaments and demos scheduled all day. Have a game you want to play? Bring it with you or pick from the available library! There are plenty of tables and events for you to play, enjoy the atmosphere, and connect with the community! For more information and a schedule of events, please visit us at www.cornerstonechurch.ca/tabletopday for all the latest details.
We have asked some really great people to be part of this event including: Derek Myers from D&D Adventurers League, David Creighton and Geoffrey Peart from Pathfinder Society, and Jason Mallory from the Catalyst Demo Team. Our special guests from WoodForSheep will be running a 7 Wonders tournament graciously donating the prizes for the competitors. The list of tables and events is expanding, but I wanted to thank the above Game Masters who worked to get this event off the ground in advance.
I am really happy to be one of the organizers for Cornerstone TableTop Day and I am really excited for things to come. There are still people confirming their attendance and a few bribes to be accepted for a few more special guests. We aim to make this the best one-day gaming event ever until Extra Life in November.
Get ready for a day of roleplaying games, board games, miniatures, tourneys, and more! I am looking forward to meeting you!
But… what do I know…?
